ARROW races are to be held at Fairground tracks in Wisconsin that are "horse ready", meaning there already being used for trotters and pacers to run on.
In 2010 we ran at Richland Center during their actual County Fair, what a blast, the crowd loved it!
2012 dates are on hold until further notice.
Anyone can race in these races as long as they are 18 or older, carry their own health insurance and wear the proper equipment. And any horse can race as long as they are a registered for the purebred divisions. "open races" are for anyone without papers to run in and all horses must be at least 2 years old or 3 if Arabian.
The new Junior Races are for kids 13-17, the same requirements apply to Junior riders as they to in the adult races along with signatures of both parents needed on the release forms. Entry fees for Juniors is currently $25, trophies and ribbons are awarded.
The fields are a minimum of 2 horses and a maximum of 5 horses and payouts currently go to fifth place.

Payout's depend on entries and sponsorships
Entry Fees for Adult Races are currently $100
A $25 administration fee may apply to help cover advertising and insurance costs.
Each group may provide their own sponsors to increase their payouts in their divisions as they see fit.
The $100 entry paid to ARROW will directly go to the payouts in their own groups.
The entry fees may be set up to go to "winner takes all" or first and second place only, OR can be decided by individual group representatives to divide as they see fit.
We are currently accepting all breeds, including grade horses, to run in 2012!

ARROW has a sister club, MABC (Midwest Arabian Breeders Club) and all MABC get are eligible to compete in four separate payback events! They include Racing, Halter, Sport Horse in Hand and Endurance!
